Aura Technical Services is a MEP management, design and installation company. Our head office is in the North West but we also have an office in London to cover the south of England. We have worked for most of the blue chip main contractors and developers on many different types of projects from hospitals and schools to universities and high rise apartment projects.

Rob Cowling

Managing Director

I am a degree qualified Building Services Engineer with over 25 years experience in the Industry.

Following my apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering I worked at a number of design consultancies where I gained experience in electrical design and the production of tender documents. For the past 15 years I have worked for main contractors working on a vast array of different types of projects under varying procurement routes.
I will be the main face of Aura Technical Services Ltd and will establish principal business strategies.

I am well known and respected in the industry and am an excellent communicator at all levels. I will take ownership of problems and make key business decisions.

Andy Ineson

Director

I am a chartered electrical engineer with over 25 years experience managing MEP projects within the construction industry. I always strive for continuous improvement with a passion to be the best. I am self driven, very motivated and like to inspire my peers and team members with my approach. The key attributes that I bring to any role I undertake are endless enthusiasm, passion, client relationships and a resilience when under pressure.

Sam Thistlethwaite

Design Director

I am a time served electrical engineer with over 15 years experience across many different sectors of the industry. I gained my qualifications through the electrical apprenticeship scheme and worked for many different M+E contractors on a wide variety of technical projects gaining experience across many different fields.

I progressed into senior management positions whilst gaining higher level electrical engineering, Electrical Design,
Management & Health and Safety qualifications.

I am commercially aware, approachable & make lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

I pride myself on being an open, honest & hardworking individual who does not shy away form making tough decisions.
